We are located on a working farm near to the village of Auchencairn in Dumfries and Galloway. The surrounding unspoilt countryside ensures you will enjoy an unforgettable riding holiday. We are easily accessible from other areas of Scotland and England.
How to get here
By Car
From Dumfries:
- Take the A711 to Dalbeattie
- Carry on through Dalbeattie, still on the A711
- Follow signs to Auchencairn at a bridge with traffic lights, still the A711
- As you come into Auchencairn, turn left immediately after going over the bridge
- Follow the shore road and take the 2nd right past the granite tower house
- Follow the road straight up the hill to Auchencairn House
From Ayr:
- Take the A713 to Castle Douglas
- Follow straight through to take the B736 onto Whitepark Road
- Turn right onto the A711
- Follow signs to Auchencairn at a bridge with traffic lights, still the A711
- As you come into Auchencairn, turn left immediately after going over the bridge
- Follow the shore road and take the 2nd right past the granite tower house
- Follow the road straight up the hill to Auchencairn House
